Revenue collection exceeds target for FY16

Economic Reporter :The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has exceeded the revenue target of Taka 1, 50,000 crore for the 2015-16 financial year (FY16), said NBR Chairman M Nojibur Rahman. “This year FY16 again my colleagues in NBR belonging to Customs, Income Tax and Value Added Tax (VAT) streams have made impossible possible by exceeding the Revenue target of Taka 1,50,000 crore,” he said in his Facebook post on Wednesday.
