Former city mayor M Manzoor Alam said Mostafa Hakim Foundation played pioneering role in expanding the education in this region and MHF always give priority to the basic demands of the people including foods, clothes , education and medi-care services . He said it while addressing the distribution programs of iftar commodities to the poor at Mostafa Hakim College ground as chief guest.
He said MHF conducting education based activities in the greater Chittagong for the last 3 decades.
He said MHF established one post graduate college in North Kattal in city. Beside Chittagong M HF also geared up expansion of education activities in Khagrachari district in last year and established a school at Diginala upazila of hill district.
Former Mayor and Executive Director of Mostafa Hakim welfare Foundation Md. Manzoor Alam also said we should practice politics for the welfare of common people and the poor community of the society.
He said the poor have rights over the affluents wealth and affluents should be aware of realizing rights of the deprived community.
Manzoor Alam desires to continue his next life with the services of the humanity and deprived people. In continuation of the programs , Iftari items distributed in Rampura, Pathantooly, Enayet Bazar, Pahartali, Chowkbazar, Chandgon, south Bakalia ward’s slum areas on Friday and Saturday last, sources added.
Among others, Director of Mostafa Hakim group Md.Sarwar Alam and Md. Faruk Azam, councilors Golam Haider Minto, Yasin Chowdhury Ashu, former councilor Abdul Malek and the principal of Mostafa Hakim University college Md Alamgir were present on the occasion.
