MH Shipon of the Daily Jaijaidin and The New Nation and Moniruzzaman of Daily Ittefaq have been elected as President and General Secretary respectively of Borhanuddin Reporters’ Unity (BRU).
Adviser of the unity journalist Omar Faraque conducted the election held on April 14.
The other office bearers are Vice-President Shimul Chowdhury of the Daily Kaler Kantha, Joint-Secretary Emran Hossain of Daily Manabzamin, Organising Secretary AG Mainul of Daily Amader Shomoy, Finance Secretary Md Riaz of Daily Inquilab, Publicity and Publication Secretary Joheb Hasan of Daily Samakal and Members Nazrul Islam of Daily Manab Kantha and Ratan De of Daily Jugantor
