Mercantile Bank Limited has paid tribute to 11 eminent personalities and organizations for their benevolent contribution to the nation by an honorific award titled ‘Mercantile Bank Award-2017’ at a city auditorium recently. Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, MP, Cultural Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, MP and Governor of Bangladesh Bank Fazle Kabir were present. Shahidul Ahsan, Chairman of the Bank presided over the program and Managing Director Kazi Masihur Rahman delivered his welcome speech.
