Vice Chancellor of Chittagong University Anowarul Islam Arif said Memory Computer Training Institute has played pioneering role to build Digital Bangladesh. He was addressing the Memory Festival-14 at Chittagong Press Club auditorium yesterday morning as Chief Guest. Secretary of Chittagong Development Authority Tahera Ferdous Begum inaugurated the festival at 10 am yesterday. Former principal of Chittagong College Rowshan Akhtar Hanif, Shahen Shah Market Welfare Committee president Kamaluddin, Journalist Ahmed Ali Chowdhury, attended it as special guests. Chairman of MCTI SM Nazrul Islam delivered the welcome address.
Former legislator and CUSU VP Mazharul Hoque Shah presided over the discussion meeting of the festival.
The chief guest in his brief deliberations said computer training is a essential in the present age of information technology and computer is playing epoch making role to enrich the modern age.
He said now a days, computer is being used in all sorts of life like social, political, economic growth etc to fulfill the desired goal . He further said there is no alternative of computer training to build the educated society .
In her inaugural speech, CDA secretary emphasized the need of computer technology to build the digital Bangladesh as desired by the present govt to face the globalization of information technology.
