Steps taken for preserving Varendra museum: JS body

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Cultural Affairs Ministry on Sunday said necessary measures have been taken for preserving Varendra Museum, Rajshahi. As part of conservation efforts, the Varendra Museum will be brought under the Cultural Affairs Ministry, this was revealed at a meeting of the committee at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here, an official release said.
