US First Lady Melania Trump has reminded President Donald Trump to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem.
Melania Trump, who was standing next to the president along with their son Barron during the annual White House Easter egg roll on Monday, had to nudge her husband to cross his hand over his heart as a military band and singer launched into the anthem.
They were standing on the White House balcony facing the south lawn where several thousand families and children were waiting for the festivities to start.
The first lady and her son covered their hearts at the beginning of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” but Trump lifted his hand a few seconds later.
