When any Eid comes evergreen popular actor and director Afzal Hossain works in special telefilms and TV plays. As a part of its continuation, he worked in several numbers of special plays and telefilms on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr. Besides these, for Channel i he also made Chhoto Kaku series Kuakatai Katakati.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Afzal Hossain worked in Imraul Rafat’s a play titled Shororitu. He played a role of a painter in the play. Popular TV actress, model and Lux superstar Mehazabien Chowdhury worked with him as a pair in role of Abontika in the play. Shooting of the play was wrapped up on Tuesday in Jahangirnagar University, Savar.
While talking about to work in the play Afzal Hossain told this correspondent, “Basically now I am not regular in acting. I work specially in Eid plays or telefilms. I have to work on the occasion of Eid due to keep various requests and reasons. In fact, I want to attach with new generation. For this reason, I like to work with them and also prefer to work under their directions. Overall I find pleasure to work with new persons.”
Mehzabaien shared her feelings by this way, “I heard many times about Afzal Sir. While working in this play I could not believe I got the opportunity to work with him. I learnt many things about acting from him. It is really a great achievement for me.”
Script of Shororipu was written by Shibu Kumar Shil but its story was written by its director Imarual Rafat. The play will be aired on NTV in Eid-ul-Fitr.
