Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Popular actress and model Mehazabien Chowdhury is now enormously admired for her enthralling performance on the small screen. She is now acting in an Eid special telefilm titled Ogo Bodhu Sundori under the direction of well known director Himel Ashraf. It will become Mehazabien’s first work under Himel Ashraf’s direction.
The title of the telefilm is same as the noted Bengali movie titled Ogo Bodhu Sundori (1981) directed by Salil Dutta. It was the last movie performed by the iconic actor Uttam Kumar, who died during its production. However, the story of the telefilm does not bear any resemblance to the movie’s story.
While talking about the plot of the telefilm its director Himel Ashraf said, “When couples are married for a long time, many wives start to think that their husbands do not love them as they used to do. Aupi thinks the same as she thinks that her husband does not love her as he used to do. Using different tricks, she now tries to catch the attention of her husband.”
While sharing her feelings about in this telefilm Mehazabien told this correspondent, “This is my first time working under the direction of Himel Ashraf. Overall, the work went really well. I really liked its storyline. I am hopeful that the telefilm will be liked by the viewers. I played the role of Aupi in the telefilm.”
Director Himel Ashraf also informed that the telefilm Ogo Bodhu Sundori will be aired on Ntv during Eid-ul-Azha.
