Talented playwright and director Sagor Jahan admired for his storytelling in dramas and telefilms. He has made a special telefilm titled Maya Sobar Moto Na for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. With this telefilm, popular actors Mehazabien Chowdhury and Tahsan Khan have paired up for the first time in any work under Sagor Jahan’s direction.
While talking about the story of the telefilm, Sagor Jahan said, “Maya Sobar Moto Na is a very contemporary story. Obese people are always considered to be weak in the society. They struggle everywhere, mostly for job and marriage. A girl named Maya encounters issues with her physical appearance. But Maya is very brave and self-dependent, what actually help her to succeed in life against all odds. Mehazabien is a very brilliant and hard-working actress. She went through a huge hardship for her role of Maya. Dressed up in such a rough costume in this hot summer, she took part in shooting non-stop from morning to night. I was amazed by her such cordiality. I am truly grateful to her.”
Tahsan said about the telefilm, “It was very challenging for Mehazabien to play as Maya. She worked really hard to portray the role. On the whole, the viewers will like the drama for its story and unique performance of Mehazabien and me.”
Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, “This is my first work under the direction of Sagor Jahan. He works with enormous devotion. The story of this telefilm is also different. I have tried my best to portray my role as practical as possible. Both Sagor Bhai and Tahsan Bhai extended their heartiest cooperation. I believe the viewers will like the telefilm for the variation in its story.”
Director Sagor Jahan informed that Maya Sobar Moto Na is expected to be aired on Banglavision during the upcoming Eid.
