Popular TV actress Mehazabien Chowdhury received honours from Bangladesh Police Women Network (BPWN) for her recent Eid release titled Alo where she played the role of a sergeant. BPWN expressed their respect to the cast and crew of the television production, for beautifully
portraying the daily struggles of female police officers. Mehazabien is also the scriptwriter of Alo. Amena Begum the DIG of BPWN, Protection, and Protocol Special Branch, presented a crest to Mehazabien herself.
While sharing her feelings after receiving the honours Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, “While
working on Alo, I did not expect to catch BPWN’s attention and get such positive responses from them. However, the respect and honour they have shown us today is a humble experience for any artiste. This will motivate me to work on more aspects of police officers.”
