Mehazabien, Apurba in Puja special play

Popular pair of the small screen of present time Mehazabien Chowdhury and Ziaul Faruk Apurba worked together in a special play of Durga Puja for the first time. Title of the play is Priyo Tumi. Directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi story of the play is written by Tanin Rahman. Shooting of the play was done in the capital’s Uttara area this week.
Apurba and Mehazabien played the roles of Arko and Priya respectively.
While talking about acting in this play Apurba told this correspondent, “Under Himi’s direction I earlier worked. From the beginning he is serious in giving direction. Day by day, his skill is being developed in case of direction. He also made this play sincerely. I and Mehazabien worked cordially. Mehazabien has become more serious in acting rather than previous time. She has developed herself in acting. Her dedication and efficiency in acting have impressed me. I hope viewers will enjoy the play.”
Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, “I have liked script of the play. I acted in role of Priya in the play. Himi and his unit worked in organized way. So, during shooting we cordially took part in shooting. Viewers always appreciate pair of Apurba and mine. I believe viewers will also enjoy our performance in this play.”
Mehazabien also informed that this play will be telecast on Nagorik TV in Durga Puja.
It is mentioned that earlier, under Himi’s direction, Apurba and Mehazabien worked as pair in two plays titled Ichchhe Kham and Tomar Opekkhai. Their acted play Tomar Opekkhai created hype among the viewers.
