Under the auspices of SANAK ( Socheton Nagorik Committee), Bagerhat and with the assistance of TIB a view exchange meeting on `Durnitibirodhi Samajik Andolon: Somvabona-O-Challenge (Social Movement Against Corruption: Probability and Challege)’ was held in the local hotel Castle Asara on Monday evening with SANAK President Adv Ram Krishna Bose in the chair. Earlier Prof. Chowdhury Abdur Rab, former president of Bagerhat SANAK explained the need and important of holding such a meeting for exchange of views in his address of welcome.
Dr. Iftekharuzzan, Executive Director , TIB who was the chief guest and main speaker on the occasion said, Corruption is the main hindrance for the overall development and prosperity of the country. Only a small section of people is involved in the corruptions; but their victims are majority people. He Also added, in many cases corruption spreads from one country to another and from one society to another. So we should create a strong awareness among the people in order to eradicate corruptions from the society as well as from the country for the better interest of the mass people.
