Myanmar-EU trade reaches $1.2b in 1st half of FY 2017-18

Xinhua, Yangon :Trade between Myanmar and European Unions member countries reached 1.2 billion U.S. dollars in the first half of fiscal year 2017-2018, official Global New Light of Myanmar reported Wednesday.In accordance with the statistics of the Ministry of Commerce, Myanmars export to EU member countries amounted to 789 million U.S. dollars while its import shared with 412 million U.S. dollars.Germany topped the list among EU member countries with 297 million U.S. dollars, followed by Britain with 178 million U.S....
