Students of Sylhet MC College formed a human chain protesting at an alleged bid to grab the college playground by a group of land grabbers recently
They formed the human chain in front of the boys’ residential hall at Baluchar area in the city at noon to register their protest and demand immediate step by the local administration and the Sylhet Metropolitan Police against the land grabbers.
The students in the human chain complained that a syndicate of land grabbers had recently started digging a big ditch of more than 10 feet wide and around 600 feet long inside the boundary wall of the playground at its east end in the name of constructing a channel to drain out water of the area.
