Chittagong Bureau :
Chittagong City Mayor M Manzoor Alam distributed Eid clothes to five hundred urchins in the city on the occasion of coming Eid festival on Friday .
Under the auspices of Mostafa Hakim Welfare Trust he formally distributed the clothes on Friday.
The clothes distribution function was held at Mostafa Hakim Degree College. During distribution of clothes, Mayor said poor have every religious rights on affluent section of the society and they must fulfill the rights of the poor otherwise they will remain accountable to Almighty Allah.
City Mayor called upon the affluent people to come forward for the welfare of the urchins to ensure the education and their livelihood.
Among others , Dirctor of the Foundation Sarwar Alam, Omar Faruk, Saiful Alam, Nesar Ahmed, Mohammad Alamgir andBadshah Alam were present on the occasion.
