League leaders Usha Krira Chakra and title aspirants Abahani Limited composed massive wins in their respective Super League matches of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League on Wednesday.
In the day’s first match, Usha Krira Chakra crushed Ajax Sporting Club by 10-2 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Usha had a formidable 6-1 goals lead in the first half.
Chayan of Usha Krira Chakra scored three goals and his teammates Mainul, Rimon netted two goals each and their colleagues Safkat, Sarwar, Rabbi successfully struck one time each on the board.
On the other hand, Rajon and Sohanur of Ajax Sporting Club returned one each.
In the day’s second match, Abahani Limited blanked Sadharan Bima by six goals to nil at the same venue.
Abahani Limited had a comfortable 4-0 lead in the first session.
Mimo, Naeem of Abahani Limited scored two goals each and their teammates Tousik, Hashim netted one goal each.
Tomorrow Abahani Limited will take on Ajax Sporting Club at 1.00 pm while Usha Krira Chakra will face Sadharan Bima at 3.00 pm at the same venue.
