State Minister for Power Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid on Sunday said, Awami League government has developed power sector in a sustainable level.
The revolutionary progress, which the power sector achieved in last six years, could not be done in 40 years since independence.
Nasrul Hamid said it as the chief guest in a mass gathering at Chatkhil Upazila of Noakhali district after inaugural of 33/11 KV power- substation and power connection for 528 families.
Prime Minister’s Personal Secretary Md Jahangir Alam presided at the meeting. HM Ibrahim MP from Noakhali-1, Mamunur Rashid Kiron
MP from Noakhali-3, Chairman of Rural Electrification Board Brigadier General Moin Uddin and General Manager of Noakhali Palli Bidhuyut Samity Sangker Lal Dutta, among others, spoke in the meeting.
