Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Mushfiqur Rahim took part at the practice session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on Thursday. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is the Captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team (ODI & T20 I), while Mushfiqur Rahim is the Captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team (Test). Both of them spent their time at the gymnasium of SBNCS.
The two Captains returned to Dhaka from New Zealand after getting injury in their right fingers. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is not totally okay but Mushfiqur Rahim took part in the lone Test match against India recently.
The official practice of Bangladesh team ahead the Sri Lanka tour starts today at the SBNCS.
Mushfiqur Rahim batted on Thursday in the net session. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza arrived at the SBNCS also for routine check up. Mashrafe discussed with BCB’s physio Bayjedul Islam about his injury.
A BCB source said to this Reporter on Thursday, ” After returning the Head Coach of Bangladesh team Chandika Hathurusingha, the fate of Mushfiqur Rahim and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s Sri Lanka series will be finalized.”
