Elite Force RAB-7 rounded up chief of the Mashiur Bahini Kazi Moshiur Rahman and his main accomplice Rafique from Jungle Salimpur under Sitakunda Upazila on early morning yesterday.
RAB forces conducted raid in Jungle salimpur early morning sensing their presence in the hill areas of salimpur. RAB forces also recovered arms and ammos from their possession, Senior Asstt. Director of RAB Mitanur Rahman said.
RAB official s aid their forces recovered 16 arms and huge ammuniations from their possession. Mentionable that under the banner of Chittagong Metropolitan Distressed Dwellers coordination Parishad, Mashiur is leading the organization as its General Secretary. Local sources said under the banner of the samity, huge govt land was occupied there and built up a numbers of kutcha and semi pucca houses which turned now into a den of miscreants and unsocial activities.
