Marcel posts growth in sales of TV, fridge in Ramzan

The local electronics brand Marcel has witnessed a significant growth in the sales of its wide range of products including fridges, LED televisions, air-conditioners, blender, rice cooker, microwave oven, electric kettle and other home and kitchen appliances as the buyers’ interest in the local brand products has been increased in Ramadan following the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Marcel officials said, earlier the buyers were preferred the products of overseas brands. But this year, the buyers are showing keen interest in the products of local brands as they are getting world-class locally made products at reasonable rates with the assurances of quick and best post sales services, the officials claimed.
The sales of electronics and electrical products have been increased substantially in this Ramadan mainly following the imminent Eid and sweltering summer heat. The number of buyers in the electronics’ outlets is increasing every day of the Ramadan. The outlets were also fabricated with new models of electronics’ products.
Predicting the huge demands for the consumer based electronics goods before the inception of Ramadan, Marcel targeted to register 40 percent growth in the sales of its products in this month. To achieve the target, Marcel had increased its production and also made a sufficient stock of the products. The local brand also provided various sorts of instructions to the sales executives so that they could manage the customers’ flow in the Ramadan.
