Executive Director of Celebrity Management Group (CMG) Bhaskor Goswami confirmed this matter to the newsmen on Friday.
In the end of the last year, CMG, a Kolkata-based event management group proposed Bangladesh Football
Federation to arrange a franchise-based football tournament in Bangladesh.
The name of the football tournament is Bangladesh Super Soccer. Football great Diego Maradona agreed to be the Chairman of the football tournament.
A total of eight teams will take part in the gala extravaganza. The matches will be played at eight places on ‘home and away’ basis, like the Indian Super League (ISL). The seven divisional teams and greater Mymensigh District team will compete in the football meet.
Famous coaches and footballers from around the world are expected to brighten the gala extravaganza.
