“Over the decades, we have successfully developed reputation for our organizations by delivering uncompromised quality, standard and reliability through delivering trusted products. Our success has been driven by customers and stake holder’s cooperation,” said Adam Tamizi Haque.
He said, “We are committed to our philosophy to deliver best quality of products with international standards, developing strong bond with our local and international customers. We have invested for human resource development for long and adopted contemporary technologies to deliver state of art products,”
“In near future we would take leading position in Bangladesh in biscuits and bakery segments. We have taken strategic move and established warehouse at Dubai to serve the Middle Eastern markets and explore markets of confectioneries, snacks, soaps and our product lines in the export markets,” he added.
“We inherit a rich heritage and goodwill. At the same time we are committed to ethics, culture, values. We have built trust with consumers, communities and suppliers through delivering uncompromised quality and standards beyond cultural boundaries through our team works, he affirmed.
“We have won the Monde Selection Gold Medal several times for quality and brand reputation of Mr. Cookie. To the consumers, Haque is a symbol of faith and trust, and segment competitors realize Haque as an example of brilliance in quality and taste,” he asserted.
He mentioned “We believe that our strengths are quality management, supply chain network and commitment of the management. We have more than 800 distributors all over the country to ensure availability of our products in the trade channels. We deliver our products to 5, 00,000 shops with products, we will build our brands to lead the fast moving consumer goods sector of Bangladesh,”
After taking the responsibility in 2011 as the MD of the group, I have seen a lot of ups and downs. Due to technological changes, our dry cell products were struggling in the markets and rivals came with imported products to grab market opportunities. More than 200 companies are serving the cookie market of the country. But we are still in the leading position because of our customer orientation and uncompromised delivery of quality.
“I have diversified our products a lot to be in the competition. I have established unconditional benchmarking of products quality, diversified brands and invested in the product lines with contemporary technologies. I have focused on the customers’ needs and market trends. Thus taken strategies to fulfill those demands on time,” the cookie boss said.
Stating his future plan he said now our group is experiencing stable growth and managing rivals. The management system has been developed over the years with satisfied workers in the organization. It can now mobilize and accelerate itself meeting the challenges of business.
He said, in the coming years I would like to focus more on serving humanity, work for the country and people. I would like to build my country and serve people through delivering commitment, enthusiasm and care.
“We need to invest more on infrastructural developments, cleaner energy management, and human resource development so that we can compete with the global trends,” Adam Tamizi Haque mentioned
“As a nation we need to focus on green technologies and safeguard our environment for achieving sustainability. Manufacturers should setup manufacturing facilities outside the metropolitan area and keep the city environment hazard free. We should have decentralized facilities and support infrastructural connectivity to support such decentralization,” He suggested
He also emphasised that “We have all the resources to build our nation, but need appropriate emphasis for sustainable development. Cleaner energy management, skilled human resources and well connected decentralized manufacturing hubs will deliver higher value in the economy rather rigid capital oriented developments. For greater benefits we have built our human resources and competed with the global demands as Bangladesh has the true potential to do so,”
“I wish to work for my country, people and overall development from now on and devote myself for the greater interest of the nation rather working for myself only. It is my vision to share the growth, opportunities and prosperity with the mass. It is my dream to grow with people and for the people of the country and serve them with what I have,” Adam Tamizi Haque asserted.
“I will focus on branding Bangladesh rather branding my products,” he mentioned.
