UNB, Khulna :
Miscreants cut off an elderly man’s wrists of two hands and tendons of legs in Jadu Shah area in the city on Monday morning.
Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Rupsha Police Station, said the miscreants swooped on Saddam Hossain, 60 in the morning and severed his wrists of two hands and tendons of two legs.
The injured was admitted to Khulna Medical College and Hospital.
Meanwhile, police arrested one Nazrul Islam from the area in this connection, said the OC adding that the attack might be carried out following land related dispute.
