Members of fire service recovered the body of a man from an abandoned well after 20 hours of his falling into it in Tartipur area of Shibganj upazila on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Dalim, 50, son of Sadekul Mondal, hailing from Sheikhtola area in the upazila.
Fire service sources said Dalim had fallen into the well on Wednesday when he tried to pull a bucket from it and became senseless.
