Associate Professor Dr Alamgir Kabir of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology’s (SUST) Mathematics Department has been appointed the new Proctor of the university. The University Registrar Md. Ishfaqul Hossain confirmed the matter Thursday.
He said, the university’s Associate Professor of Mathematics Dr Alamgir Kabir has been appointed as Proctor. He will hold the post for the next three years from the date of joining.
Proctor Alamgir Kabir said, ‘I would like to thank Vice Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed for giving me this new responsibility. I will always work to ensure a conducive learning environment for students at the university.
