A court in Kishoreganj has sentenced Jasim Uddin to death in the murder case of Kishoreganj Sadar farmer Bachchu Mia.
Judge Nargis Islam, Additional District and Sessions Judge’s Court-2 in Kishoreganj handed down the verdict on Monday. The other four accused in the case were acquitted. The convict Jasim is the son of Abdul Majid at Karshakariyal in Kishoreganj sadar.
According to CD, the victim farmers Bachchu Mia and Jasim are of the same family. There was a clash between them about fishing in the pond.
A case was also filed in this incident. Jasim and his brothers were accused in this. They were released on bail 15/20 days before the incident. PP in Kishoreganj Advocate Shah Azizul Haque confirmed the incident and said that the plaintiffs have got their verdict after a long time.
