A man was stabbed to death by his rival at Ishapashor in Tarail Upazila of Kishoreganj on Tuesday morning over water-body and supremacy .
The victim was identified as Tajul Islam (48), son of Anowar Ali from Ishapashor village of Tarail Upazila.
Tarail Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mujibur Rahman told the New Nation that receiving on information, Police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body.
Police also arrested five men in this connection, OC added. The body was sent to Kishoreganj General Hospital for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection with Tarail Police Station.
