A young man was stabbed to death by miscreants in Halpara area of district town on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Anup Agarwal, 30, son of Shyam Sundor Agarwal, resident of the area.
Abdullah Al Hasan, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said a gang of miscreants stabbed him in front of “Upazila Health and Family Planning” office around 10:30am, leaving him dead on the spot. On information police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
