Man stabbed to death in Bogra for protesting drug

A man was stabbed to death by a group of drug addicts in Kurshapara area of Sabgram in Bogra town on the early Wednesday at around 2.30am as he protested to disorderly behavior.
Police arrested two persons in this connection. They are Abdus Salam, 30, and Sohag Rahman, 28, inhabitant of Sabgram area.
The deceased was identified as Shahin Akhanda, 37, son of late Alhaj Elahi Baks of Sabgram Kursapara in the town.
Mr. Sanatan Kumar Chakrabarti, additional superintendent of Bogra police also Shadar Circle said, some drug addicts were behaving disorderly. At that time a local garage owner Shahin Akhanda wants to know of their disorderly behavior. At one stage the arrestees stabbed him indiscrminally then flew away from the spot. Local people rescued and sent him to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. Emergency Dr. said Shahin Akhanda dies on the way to Hospital.
A case was lodged with Shadar police station in this connection, said Emdad Hossain, officer in charge of the PS.
