A man was shot dead by unidentified miscreants in the capital’s Mirpur area early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as– Shahidul Islam Rasel, 40, owner of Medicare Pharmacy at Mirpur-11.
Witnesses said, some miscreants opened fire when he was in the
pharmacy and fled the scene around 12:45am, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
Pallabi Police Station OC Dadon Fakir said, the reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
