A man was killed at Hariaghope under Keshabpur upazila in Jessore early Saturday.
The dead was identified as Saukat Morol, 50 of Hariaghope village.
The police arrested Nazrul Islam, brother of the killed for quizzing, said Shahidul Islam, officer in-charge, Keshabpur police station.
Police and locals said tortured body of Saukat Morol was recovered from a village road near a water body at Hariaghope village on Saturday morning. The body bore marks of torture.
Referring to villagers the police said the dead had feud with his brother over land property.
No case was lodged in this connection.
