Man held with 3000 injections stolen from DMCH

Shahbagh Thana Police on Wednesday arrested one Jahirul Haque from Jani Pharmacy at Chankharpool in the city and recovered 3,000 pieces of injections.
 Jahirul,27, is the son of Abdur Rab, resident of Lalbagh.
Sirajul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shahbagh Police Station told The New Nation that the police conducted a drive in the area and detained the youth with the government owned injections.
Brigadier General Mustafizur Rahman, Director of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) said on Wednesday that a medicine company had provided 1.30 lakh pieces of injections to the hospital on Monday.
Bimol Biswas, Store Keeper of the hospital, was temporarily suspended for his alleged link with the unauthorised sale of injections, he added.
