Members of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested a man with 1,150 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from the north side of Shah Amanat Bridge under Karnaphuli police station early Wednesday.
The arrested was identified as Shahdat Hossain, 40, son of Abdul Majid Miazi, hailed from Chandpur district, police said.
Acting on a secret information, a team of Bakalia police station arrested him with the Yaba tablets beside the north side of Shah Amanat bridge around 5 am.
