A court here on Wednesday sentenced a man to life-term imprisonment for killing his wife eight years back.
Additional District and Sessions Judge M Saidur Rahman Gazi gave the verdict against Mojammel Haque, a resident of Kajirkhil village under Ramganj upazila of the district.
The prosecution story, in brief, is that Mojammel strangulated his wife Nasima Akhter to death over a family feud on August 16, 2007.
Momin, brother of the victim, filed a case with Ramganj police station accusing three persons.
