The railway police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from the railway tracks near to Rajshahi University Railway Station on Friday morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known.
Rajshahi Railway Police Station officer-in-charge Akbar Hossain told New Nation that local spotted the body, aged about 40, and informed the railway police. Later, they sent the body to Rajshahi Medical Collage Hospital for autopsy.
“It was supposed that the man tried to cross the railway line when he was hit by an oncoming train”, OC also said.
