Monirampur police recovered the body of a man aged about 40 years form a field at Brahmandanga under the upazila at around 2:30pm on Saturday.
Sub inspector Tobarak Ali of Monirampur police station told that being informed by the locals the police recovered the body of the unidentified man from a field at Brahmandanga under the upazila. `He could be strangulated’, police official added.
Post mortem examination of the body was made at Jessore General Hospital later.
