Abhaynagar police recovered the body of a man of about 50 years of age at Burirghat area, on the bank of the River Bhairab under Nawapara industrial town in Jashore on Friday morning.
Alamgir Hossain, OC of Abhaynagar Police Thana said that being informed by the locals the police recovered the body of the unidentified man from the bank of the River Bhairab at around 11:30am on Friday.
Police recovered the body being informed by the locals. Earlier, locals saw the body lying on the bank of the river at around 9 am.
‘The man could be thrown in the river after killing and the tide too it to the place,’ locals suspect.
