The government on Monday announced to shut all educational institutions across the country until March 31 in part of effort to stem the spread of coronavirus.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni made the announcement in a press briefing at the Secretariat in the capital.
She said that the decision was taken as a precautionary measure.
“Everyone has to make sure that the students stay at home so that they can be safe from hazardouse of the virus,” the education minister said.
