Mamun Haider, Sakhipur Upazila Correspondent of Daily Ittefaq and Daily Nation newspaper, has received a special award for writing a feature on the ‘Memorial of Liberation War’ marking the Golden Jubilee of the Victory Day.
The competition to write a feature on ‘Memorial of the Liberation War’ started from October last year with a special event organized by Daily Ittefaq Online. The last time of this competition was 31st December-2021. On the evening of the last day of the competition, the Ittefaq online section announced the names and prizes of the winners of the ‘Memorial of Liberation War’ feature and published the names and pictures on the Facebook page of the magazine. Author Mamun Haider was awarded a special prize for his essay titled ‘Various Sculptures and Monuments Awakening the Liberation War in Tangail’.
Mamun Haider is the former general secretary of Sakhipur Press Club. Sakhipur Press Club, Sakhipur Barta Paribar, Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Sontan Command congratulated him on achievement.
