National midfielder Mamunul Islam Maun will again lead the Bangladesh national football team in the away match against Tajikistan in the Asian qualifying play-off scheduled to be held on Thursday (June) in Tajikistan.
Bangladesh Football Federation on Saturday announced a 23-memer squad for the tournament.
Earlier, BFF suspended four booters including the then national team skipper Mamunul for two matches for breaching team’s discipline during the SAFF Championship last year. Following the incident BFF imposed one year suspension on Mamunul and Zahid Hossain. Later considering their plea BFF withdraw their suspension order.
Bangladesh team is expected to leave for Tajikistan today (Sunday).
