After many climaxes, National Film Award winner Zakia Bari Mamo has started shooting in role of Maya in Raihan Rafi directed movie Dohon. In fact, there were many dramatizations for last few months about who would play in that role. After Mamo’s shooting, this debate came into end at last. Mamo started her shooting in the capital’s Jonaki cinema hall last week.
While talking about casting Mamo in role of Maya director Raihan Rafi told this correspondent, “In fact, Mamo Apu is perfect to play in role of Maya. I wanted to cast that type of heroine who will not to be glamorous but also knows acting well. Mamo is perfect in that role. So, I have decided to cast her to act in that role. I believe it will become a nice work.”
Mamo shared her feelings by this way, “I am really very much excited to act in movie Dohon. It is absolutely a new project under a new unit. I could not take decision earlier. But I had full confident on director Rafi. I was impressed about his direction. I shall try my level best to portray my role properly in the movie.”
Mamo also informed that she will be engaged with shooting of this movie for next two weeks. Jaaz Multimedia is producing the movie.
This Eid Raihan Rafi directed movie Poramon-2 was released and it created hype among the cinema lovers.
Mamo acted last released movie was Arun Chowdhury’s Altabanu.
