It was earlier fixed that Raihan Rafi directed and Jaaz Multimedia produced movie Dohon was scheduled to release on November 16. Later releasing date was changed to November 30. Owner of Jaaz Abdul Aziz confirmed the matter yesterday. Main theme of the story was given by him but its story was written by Delwar Hossain Dil. Already Dohon team started promotional campaign of the movie where Siam Ahmed and Puja Cherry acted in two lead roles.
For the first time, in this movie National Film Award winner actress Jakia Bari Mamo worked with Puja. Earlier viewers watched them in separate way in movie but for the first time they shared the screen in a movie. Puja is very much excited to get Mamo in this movie while Mamo is also happy to work with her.
While talking in this regard Mamo said, “In front of my eyes I have seen Puja how she became actress from a child artiste. She acted well in movie Poramon-2. In Dohon, she also acted well. She has tried her level best to portray her role in Dohon. I like her so much. I believe viewers will also appreciate Puja’s acting in this movie.”
Puja shared her feelings by this way, “It is really a great luck for me to get the opportunity to work such a big stress like Mamo Apu in this movie. It is no doubt she is a top class actress. Overall, she is very much co-operative. I really enjoyed working with her. She easily made me close during shooting. I believe viewers will enjoy our performances on the screen.”
Tariq Anam Khan, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Monira Mithu, Ripa, among others, also acted in Dohon.
Mamo acted last released movie was Arun Chowdhury’s Altabanu. Mamo acted and Tanim Rahman directed movie Swapner Ghor waiting to release now. Anisur Rahman Milon was her co-actor in this movie.
