Malaysia Women’s Football team arrived in Dhaka on Monday to play two-match series of FIFA International Friendly matches against Bangladesh Women’s Football team.
Bangladesh will take on Malaysia in the first match at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur on June 23. The match will kick-off at 6.00pm.
Bangladesh will face Malaysia in the second match at the same venue on June 26. The match will start at 6.00pm.
Malaysia team took part in their practice session at the same venue under flood-light on Tuesday, while Bangladesh team participated in their training session on Tuesday afternoon at the same venue.
It may be mentioned that Bangladesh Women’s Football team are going to play the FIFA International Friendly matches at home for the first time. Bangladesh Women’s Football team have achieved 146th position, according to the latest FIFA rankings, while Malaysia Women’s Football team have taken 85th position, according to the latest FIFA rankings.
Bangladesh Men’s Football team faced Malaysia Men’s Football team in their match of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers at Malaysia recently. Bangladesh lost to Malaysia by 1-4 goals in that match.
