UNB, Dhaka :
Major General Shakil Ahmed has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The public administration ministry issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.
The current BGB DG Maj Gen Shafeenul Islam has returned to Armed Forces Division of Bangladesh Army, it added.
