A housemaid, who was allegedly tortured three days back, died at a city hospital on Thursday morning. Police detained one person for his suspected involvement in the torture.The victim was identified as Diti Mony, 15, daughter of Zahangir Hossain, a resident of house no-22, road no-20 at Rupnagar. Diti was attacked with sharp weapons allegedly by his master’s son Fardin Islam alias Rup, his wife Hawarunnesa and sister Maliha Jahan Mou around 12 pm on June 16, police and family sources said.
