UNB, Faridpur :
Unidentified miscreants killed a female domestic help at a house in Kamalapur C&B Colony area in the district town on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Keya Akter, 15, daughter of Abdul Barek of Goladangir Char in the town.
Police sources said Keya used to work as a domestic help at the house of Mohammad Dabir Uddin, an auditor of Faridpur district accountant’s office.
The house owner said he along with his family had gone out of the house to go Eid shopping in a market in the afternoon.
When they came back home, they found Keya’s body lying in a pool of blood around 9:30 pm.
Five tolas of gold ornaments were also found missing from their room, he added.
Syed Mohsinul Haque, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said police are investigating the incident and motive behind the killing will be clear after investigation.
