Bangladesh T20I skipper Mahmudullah received injury scares as he had to skip the practice match against Oman A team at Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Muskat on Saturday following his injury on his right hand.
Mahmudullah is also unlikely to feature in the first warm-up match against Ireland on October 12 in Abu Dhabi as he sustained an injury on his right hand.
A Bangladesh Cricket Board official confirmed about the development regarding Mahmudullah to reporters while he also informed that the team will travel to Abu Dhabi today.
Opener Liton Das led Bangladesh XI in the absence of Mahmudullah during the practice match.
Liton struck 53 off 33 balls while Mohammad Naim made unbeaten 49 off 44 balls as Bangladesh XI scored 117-2 in 14 overs until the report was filed after the host team sent them to bat first.
