Mahia Juned promoted as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) to City Bank Limited, says a press release.
Earlier she was Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Operations of the bank.
Mahia did her BBA from Assumption University, Thailand. She started her career in 1994 with Citibank, N.A, Bangladesh as an Operations Officer and left the bank in 2001 as Resident VP & Head of Operations.
She joined The City Bank Ltd in 2007 as Head of Project Management and subsequently became Head of Operations in 2011.
Mahia is the first female DMD in the bank’s 34 years of history. She became the first female member in bank’s Management Committee in 2013.
