The government on Thursday appointed Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman, currently serving as Director General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Poland.
In his diplomatic career, he served in Bangladesh Embassies in Yangon, Kuwait, Madrid and Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad in various capacities, said a Foreign Ministry media release.
Rahman graduated in Architecture from BUET. He also did his masters degree in Foreign Affairs and International Trade from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
He also received a number of trainings from various institutions at home and abroad.
